5 3 dead so far (A mistake I am happy to correct). Shooter was juvie student according to reports.
5 more injured.
Uncofirmed it started in the library (local news).

This one hit kinda close, my (Adult) daughter has 4 of them in Church class. All survived.

Shooter self-anchored before police arrived it looks like.

I get that 17 is technically a juvenile, but this will only add to bullshit statistics. Not only will "her" (quotation marks until proven female at birth) suicide be reported as a child death, but her murders will be reported as gun crimes by a child. My only sympathy for "her" will be if "she" was abused by school staff.

The second proposal about more detailed NICS checks for under 21 is concerning... only because it flies in the face of the court rulings that said you can't stop under 21's from buying firearms. They are the age of majority... and can vote. So their rights should not be extra-infringed.

It's all about endlessly eroding one driip at a time...

Aren’t the only ones supposed to be filling out and checking a 4473 to sell or transfer a firearm listed as a Responsible Person “RP” on the dealers FFL? To become an RP, don’t fingerprints and photos have to be submitted and the ATF/FBI conduct a thorough background search? Aren’t there supposed to be two checks on every 4473 as well?

Seems to me if they did a thorough background search to begin with, then a shitbag RP shouldn’t be a problem?

Not just because they can vote. A good number of people "authorized to kill on behalf of their country" are < 21. If one is old enough to kill a man for their country, they should be NOT be extra-infringed by any means. I've just never understood that...not reponsbile enough for x,y,z...but reponsible enough to take another human's life. Okay....got it.

true. IMHO any "legal" adulthood requirement should be same age. gun owner,drive,marry,drafted,enter contracts,vote whatever. age 16,18,21,25,30? pick one. the ? of what there should "legal" age requirements for is sort of a dif question.

But remember that the left wants 16 year olds voting... but claims that people are not 'adults' until they are 26 when it comes to the nanny state (aka health insurance and things like firearms.) Of course, they have the ability to choose their own gender at 2 and force mommy and daddy to acede to having the state cut their junk off! But must be kept away from firerms and sharp objects until they are 'emotionally adults' at 26 or so.

The death by a thousand cuts, is indeed a threat. We don't need more "Gun Laws", but I don't see this as a "gun law". It doesn't put a burden on dealers or customers...it removes one. It provides a tool for dealers to ensure they can hire reliable people. As it stands now, NICS can only be used for gun purchases. This would ease the gun store owner's burden.

Every single fucking one of them are cowards to the extreme who only carries out their deeds against people who they KNOW will be unarmed 100%. As soon as:

A: Police arrive on scene,
B: Somebody returns fire in their direction,
C: Enough people just say "fuck it" and charge on the shooter from enough vantage points to let them know that this is the endgame for them,

ALL of them immediately turn their weapons on themselves.

Every local, state, national, and international government that uses gun control laws to render their populations disarmed or severely curtailed from being armed 24/7 everywhere are basically enemies of polite, normal society and in a healthy world, those who pass and enforce such laws should not be allowed to live their daily lives without the constant pervasive fear of a sudden lethal ambush catered just for them.

Of course, Biden is calling for gun control laws that would not have had any effect on this or any other shooting. From one side of his mouth, “Gun control to protect the kids”, from the other side, “Abortion rights so you can kill your kid before we have to make gun control laws to protect them”. 🙄. Gun control is a sane adult locking their guns up if their kid is “struggling”; especially if they can’t figure out their own gender by looking between their legs.

I don’t know what the big deal here is….I was told by the government that we were all being protected from this shit by not releasing the Nashville idiot’s tranifesto….just how did this happen? We were supposed to be protected because we didn’t know the truth. That the Nashville idiot’s issues were so unique that by not releasing the tranifesto we’d all be protected, especially Christian based schools.

Ok, moment of sarcasm over. I’ll reiterate what somebody else mentioned…what kind of special do you have to be as a parent to not lock your guns (and ammo?) away from your Mentally ill child?????? Once we finally decide wokism is the destruction of society, this is a bad metal disorder that may or may not cure itself over time, then we will be able to stop some of this. As long as we have scum political figures making this part of the plot to enact their communist manifesto, we’re going to be having these events.

Also, call me crazy…but too many of these events seem to correspond with some gun legislation or cover for some big news of strategic importance (like missing radioactive material, Syria bombing, etc, etc)…which I find almost statistically impossible.
