LOL....yeah, I've had that happen as well. Super annoying. In my case, probably a good 50 yards width separation, but sets up right next to me shooting something "magnum sized with large break." Multiple times this happened. l liken it to the parking lot...park away from people and by the time you come out 2 or 3 cars will be parked right next to you....as if their cars get lonely.
I also get the guy with a brake next to me when I’m shooting rimfire, every damn time. The way these places are set up you’re usually directly center of the blasts 3-4’ from your face lol
AMEN....3-4' is exaclty how they set up. I went shooting with a guy who had a 338 Lapua. Said, look, that's cool, but let me know when you're going to fire and I'll move. Nope...that worked ONCE...the next time a rapid fire of 4 rounds. Then he was like "uhh, sorry dude, I forgot." Just how do you forget? Are you unaware of your surroundings? If so, you shouldn't be shooting MOFO. A small amount of courtesy goes a LONG way.
I have no issues with 338 or massive pressure...just let me know so I can get out of the zone of deafness (which did worsen signifiantly after that with doubled up plug&muffs). Besides, you're not going to be rapid firing a 338 if you want your barrel to last.

But no teenagers using the machine gun at schools, the mall, movie theaters

Report on day was a handgun. Police chief said yesterday shooter had 2 handguns (Does Madison police chief even know what a handgun is? I digress)
Looks like their angle is she had contact with a guy in CA who just got hit with a red flag order. Watch for them to push that expansion.
In a lot of the online threads there was a distinct "I'm a republican but I support sensible gun control" people floating around. Funny enough I've never met those people.
