The Honorable Judge Benitez has just struck down California's law mandating background checks to buy ammo that also prohibits us from importing ammo or buying it online. The decesion will be appealed by the California AG but still very good news that should be celebrated.

You're right, it should be celebrated. But unfortunately, the freedoms guaranteed in our constitution have not returned to the citizens. How many more years will it take?
Far too many, but all we can do is fight and hope.
they'll just make a diff move. after all it's free. taxes are paying for these 2A attacks and their salaries.
No matter how many times it is ruled unconstitutional and illegal, they will still call it a law and try and enforce it. Leftist hate and socialist intolerance means they care not one fart about the rule of law.
Looking at it more, it seems that Judge Benitez put a permanent injunction on the rulings. The laws requiring a background check for buying ammo in the state of CA no longer exists. This case might and probably will be appealed some how, some way or CA will pass another crappy, unconstitutional law once again.
