Check this one out. Seems to follow the historical events pretty well from what Ive read. The action is awesome, super hectic. 2 Czech troops parachute into their homeland from the gov't in exile in London to take out Heydrich. And they succeed, only to be the targets of a massive manhunt and betrayed by a snitch. The ending is good even though everybody dies.

One of my buddies wrote one of the articles on which this was based. Same guy that wrote the Special Forces Berlin book. Yes, amazing story. Movies don't do justice to the actual history, in fact.

I thought it was solid. IIRC Heydrich was the highest ranking Nazi to be assassinated? I'm a fan of Cillian Murphy from Peaky Blinders, so always nice to see him get a good role.

As an interesting historical side note... after Heydrich's assassination no high Nazi officials rode in open cars again. All their Mercedes were re-bodied with closed coachwork and bulletproof glass. Even the famous 500K convertible Erdmann and Rossi (coachbuilder) cars that Hitler favored were phased out of use. Except in Berchtesgaden (where he was considered safe).

The Heydrich assassination shook the Nazi leadership to the core.

Couldn't happen to a nicer psycho. Because Heydrich was %$#!ing nuts, even by SS standards.
