Anti-Tilt Followers - DPMS 308

Hi All,

My mags are aging and beginning to show signs. The springs are strong enough, but the followers are starting to tilt.

Anybody know where I can buy replacement followers? I know there are replacement mags out there with anti-tilt followers, but I was hoping to salvage the ones I have, mostly because I have a dozen of them, and the expense to replace them would be more than I would like.

Any help would be appreciated

Maybe magpul followers? I don't know that they are the same size as DPMS though (I'm guessing you have DPMS mags).

I have Orange ones in my mags and I've never had a problems with them.

Or you can just get brand new mags from them for like $8 ea with the anti-tilt followers. I've used em for years and have no problems.

Those are for 223, he needs 308.

I have a magpul 308 follower in front of me as well as a DPMS 308 10 round mag, and it looks like the magpul follower will do what you want BUT I can't get the damn thing apart to tell for sure.

Did all your mags take a shit at the same time or do you just have 1-2 problem ones?

So far, its just one or two problem ones. They're all DPMS mags.

I bought about 10 of them here, and I think the seller may have decided that they needed replacing.

Maybe I'll get some magpuls and see how it goes. That said, I'm only finding followers for 556 on their site. Would you happen to have a link?

Cproducts mags are 15$ each, Pmags are 20$ each give or take. You are probably better off just tossing your bad dpms ones and replacing them with Pmags.

Its a year later, so I dare to ask is any one making replacement followers for 308 mags yet?
