Any body shoot these regularly? How do you like them?

does anything need cleaned up? honed? What are some good improvements?

I'm getting more into cowboy action and need a another single action. I have a vaquero now, but would like to try something different and can get one of these in a trade.

Without exception, every factory single action wheel gun I've picked up in the last 45 years has needed to be re-timed by someone who really knows SA's.

Beyond that, Uberti's quality is really quite good generally speaking. If it fits the bill, I wouldn't hesitate getting another one.

Re-timed as far as cylinder position?

What would you normally have get done to your single actions to improve them?

I'm relatively new to single actions, have a couple hundred rounds down my vaquero.

Rework the bolt so that it drops (later) into the land properly, lighten the hammer spring, and polish all working surfaces to a mirror finish (especially the bolt lug dome).
That's where I start. Beyond that I have a few other things that I do on my own guns, and only do them on request for people I know.

I used to play fast draw games, and my Colt has a 6oz trigger.
