Sorry for the newbe thing. I've seen some of the site but I suck bad at trying to find stuff. 223 556 loading data for specific bullets ect? Any help would be awesome! Just starting out really. Thank you One and Thank you All

There is a reloading area... and a reloading depot for loads.

Asking this question in the Bear Pit will get you the advice to put in 22 grains of Bullseye and a 70 gr. lead hard-cast on top of a small pistol primer.

Cheers,

Sirhr

P.S. Don't do that. For the love of all things holy... don't do that.

Actually I like the 200 gr subs. Oh wait, that's for the 300BO you talked me into building.

Mesa - ignore the crap you see (sort of brought on yourself) here and go to the Reloading Depot section for the info you seek. Otherwise, you're just going to encourage these...gentlemen.

Or just cut to the chase. Why in the hell waste your time loading for this caliber? Really. If it's the only caliber ya got, then I get it.........

75 grain Amax 25.1 gr IMR 8208 XBR. Just under 3100 fps. SDs in the 5s. With 26 inch barreled rock creek. Bolt gun. Please don't put that in ur gas gun. It'll go boom the wrong way.

go to www.hodgdon.com and follow the prompts. You have to read and agree to the rules for getting into the reloading data bank. Also, if you are using Alliant, or Accurate, they www.alliantpowder.com and www.accuratepowder.com.

Start at the starting point and work up. DO NOT let someone bullshit you into starting with an OCW charge, here or in the Reloading depot. OCW is a charge you arrive at after you have reloaded for a particular cartridge for a while and have a better idea of min and max pressure in your rifle. The proper OCW charge will be a good margin below max in a standard chambered rifle.

"Load Books" makes caliber specific books that have material from other manuals copied and put in one manual. I have older ones, it's probably a good idea to update loads you use often by going online and seeing what they recommend as book loads do change from year to year with formulas, quality of materials, etc.
