I've been having some feeding problems with my LR-6.5 and noticed the feed ramp had some pretty heavy machining marks on them. I was thinking a polish might help, however I was curious if there is a certain technique or special tool to use.

I have only done a Glock pistol, but I used a dremel with the polishing wheen and some flitz... seemed to work nicely.

Cratex wheels work great! Start with the course to remove the machine marks then use the finer grit wheels to polish as you see fit. They do make somewhat of a mess as the wheel breaks down so make sure you flush everything out once you are done. However, if you are having feeding problems, it might need more work than just polishing the feed ramp.
