I PM'd Dick Davis here on the hide who works for McMillan, about a month and a half or so ago and he told me that the stock mold is in production and lead time for the stock with bipod stud and two flush cups and M40-A1 style butt pad would be 10-14wks. Sorry cant remember the price right off the top of my head but it was south of 600.00

The HTG stock for the CZ 452/453 rifles has been done since the SHOT SHOW in January. We havn't got anything special up on the web-site yet but it's just another action that we can inlet the HTG for. We call it the M40A22. I'll get a picture of it up by the Rimfire Magnum Stock next time we do a web wp-date, but it look pretty much like the standard HTG and is priced the same as all the standard hunting stocks. Already made a dozen or so for the European market. I'll see about posting some pictures here.

Do you know if all the 452s have two screws in the receiver like the American model? Or on in the action and one on the barrel? I was just thinking about how to pillar bed it.

All the older 452's have just the one action screw and the one out on the barrel. We don't even inlet a hole for the screw on the barrel nut, the gun's seem to shoot much better with just the one center action screw. It's center position seems to pull the action down flat just fine. The American models have the second rear guard screw. If you haven't bought one yet the trigger on the 453 is well worth the extra money in my opinion, and it has what we would consider a normal two guard screw set-up.

I have 452 American and I believe putting a HTG on it will make it shoot worse. I shoot poorly and can shoot in one hole at 25 yards.

I'd love to get a 40X action and make it a 17HMR or HM2 and put an HTG forest camo stock on like my 308. Make a mini M40A1
