Any probate experts from FL here?

Long story short, mom just passed away from cancer. No will, no POA, no nothing. Just has a lot of bills and a house that is worth less than current mortgage. I am in no position to refinance even if I could. My daughter and I are the only "heirs".

It would be cheaper on me to move in though and take it over. There'd be less headaches on some fronts and more on the other. Going to setup an appointment for volunteer attorney but just looking for any info prior. Thanks.

Cant help you on the legal front, but condolences on your mom. Mine turned 90 this summer and I wouldnt be surprised to get the call any time.
