For the past 4 years, Sniper's from my agency, have conducted joint training with State and Federal Sniper's outside of Billings Montana. All costs for transport and lodging are paid for by individual officer's. We use a combination of steel and live targets (prairie dogs)from 50 yards to 1000 yards. In addition to Sniper/Observer drills, we conduct PSD operations shooting from moving vehicles, and lowlight ops. etc. We are seeking help from hide member's to find additional training sites. I thought I (and the USAMU Sniper School) was the only ones who thought PDs were excellant training grounds for LE Sniping.
Let me know how many people we are talking about, I think I might be able to line you up, its on government land but would fit the bill.
