Any reason to buy a KRG X-Ray over the Bravo?

I recently purchased a Tikka barreled action here from the classified ads on the forum. I need a chassis for it. I was planning on buying the KRG X-Ray chassis, but just learned that the Bravo also has an aluminum backbone in it (for some reason I thought it was 100% polymer, no aluminum). With that in mind, is there any reason to buy an X-Ray over the Bravo?

Also, is the Bravo's grip equivalent to KRG's small or large grip panels on the X-Ray?

I have no hands-on experience with the Xray or W3, but I do recall reading on here that the Bravo's grip size is unique to it and that it falls in between the small and large grip panels.

We would consider a CZ Bravo. We'd have to double check but the Bravo rear should fit.

You can put a W-3 or X-ray back end on a Bravo, you can put a W-3 forend on it it too if you want, or our new Enclosed Forend (Rem 700 SA).

The grip angle, shape and offset of Bravo are similar in some ways to the Whiskey-3 and X-ray but the sizing is more in the middle of the large grip and small grip. The grip angle and shape are more patterned after Mcmillan and TRG-22/42 mixed with W-3. Most people tell us they find it really comfortable. I do for sure.

The Gen 6 W-3 is coming, fixed stocks just started shipping. The main difference is we changed how the length of pull works, plus really minor tweaks to the folder like grooves on the latch so guys know where to press to unlock it. The front half is unchanged.

I’ve had both of these and found no reason to keep the X ray over the Bravo. Ow I’m running the Bravo on my T3 with plans to buy one for e a T1X when I get it. I just liked the overall feel better and the grip felt better to me. Seemed like it filled my hand better while on the rifle.

More potential for adjustability with the xray. Cheek piece on xray can go forward and backwards, and with the addition of another part can go side to side as well. Recoil pad can move up and down on xray. Can be done on bravo, but requires an additional part. Buttstock can accept bag riders on xray and i think may have more options for sling attachment points. You also have options for different grip sizes with the xray and the option of shooting with your thumb through the pistol grip if you want to.

So basically, there is more potential for adjustability and customization with the xray than the bravo. Just depends if those additional options matter to you and your intended use.
