Any reason you never see builds on Winchester Actions?

The one on the far right is not a m70 or SPR but it is a howa. The other two are m70/spr.

This one is not mine but it's an SPR from a member here

I’d love to get an m70 into a chassis like that. On the right is the manners eh1 with a full length Arca rail for my m70 when the action comes back with the new barrel. Should be about a month out right now. Middle I have a Ruger 2.0 I built in .308 for my gf and the left is my Christensen .300 win mag in a grayboe stock. I prefer the m70 action over the Christensen by a good margin.

There is nothing wrong with a Model 70 Win.
But there is also nothing special about it either.

I would not seek one out today for a new target rifle...but if I inherited one to hunt with, that would be fun, in the obsolete calibers, of course.

The barrel is more important than the action behind it.
It's barrels , bullets, And bedding for accuracy regardless of the action.

Did you inlet that Manners stock in the bottom photos Sir, or was that done at Manners? Really been wanting a T5A for a while.

Yes, the inletting work was performed here. The only thing we don't do here (when it comes to stock work) is make them. -Composites, anyway, wood is no problem.

I have blank T5A stocks on the shelf. These are "out of the mold" blanks. We handle all the paint/finish work here.

Just to be clear: The agreement I have with Manners stocks is that we never sell one in the unfinished condition. It won't leave here without a coat of paint.

Happy to help.

Pics are of the 2014 SHC trophy rifle we donated. It doesn't seem like 11 years ago. Time goes too quick these days.

I am going to have to keep that in mind. I JUST ordered another stock for my third SPR last week and hated that I couldn't find anything for the inlet on Manners' site. If the one I ordered doesn't fit me right for its intended role, I will be giving you guys a call. Thank you for your assistance and time taken in response.
