Any Tampa local with enough land to shoot??

Well shooting long range and living in tampa are two things that don’t mix unfortunately and I’m not wasting ammo at 100yd clubs anymore.
It would be nice to find a local with enough land to shoot with me, I’ve been to every range in a 2 1/2 hour radius from me. Yes JTAC is close to me but they don’t have any memberships available until maybe after summer and Manatee county range is a bit far.
If anyone wants to oblige my request I can sweeten the deal and bring steel for targets I get scrap rights being a demolition contractor…

I live over in Lakeland and in the same boat as you. I got 130ish in the backyard right now. Will have 200 if I can ever get the fence finished.

I made the hike down to Manatee a few times recently and it’s a fairly nice place.

Check out the South Florida Precision Rifle Association page on Facebook. There are guys there that have memberships to JTAC and may be able to take guests with them. Also, check out the long range matches that GCP Rifle Co holds there.

Manatee is too far, but you'll go to Teneroc?
Doesn't make sense unless you maybe live in the Brandon/Valrico area.

Manatee was an hour drive for me when I lived in the north part of Valrico.

It's still worth contacting Eric or Ben at JTAC to see if they have any cancellations.
They just signed up a bunch of new members a week ago...
Otherwise, Manatee is worth it if you just decide to make a day of it.
Take the significant other and hit Anna Maria Island after shooting and take her for a sunset dinner. Win, win. Winn Dixie...

I've got steel to 1000yds on my place but it is diagonally across North America from you. I hated Florida and this was as far as I could get in the conus from it.

Absolutely. Great time yesterday wish I hadn't been under a time crunch. Glad I was able to at least let a few off the chain and meet another new Hide member b/f heading out. Doubling up on BBQ Friday since I missed the feed time dangit. @Fearlessldr88 look forward to shooting again once you get through the hoops.
