Range Report Anybody run any G9 bullets in .308?

I just noticed these on the market. A machined brass solid with impressive BC numbers for their 154gr offering. G9 provides some load data for these that has them running about 2950 to 3000 fps range at 2.900" OAL. Tangent, Secant, or Hybrid ogive? How easy to tune?

Mile High Shooting has a special of buy 2 boxes and get a 3rd box for free. Cost comes out to what one would normally pay for 300 Bergers.

I would be careful running those things thru your barrel. I'm not sure what alloy they are using, but I don't believe its 100% copper. Any zinc in there is a risk for the barrel.

If you are looking at solids, check out Warner Flatlines. 100% copper. They are expensive, but boy they are worth it. Turn your 308 into a 300 Win Mag or at least a 6.5 CM.
