Im thinking about putting all the CMMG parts (stainless bolt, barrel, etc) on an DPMS slick side upper for a dedicated .22lr upper.

Has anyone put one together? What kind of reliability and accuracy are you getting?

I agree with Adam. I have a Spikes upper also (same as the CMMG).
If I had to do it over I would own a Nordic upper.

Yeah, I'm worried about functio. I have a friend with a TacSol upper and he's had a lot of trouble with reliability. It is pretty accurate, though. What kind of accuracy can I expect from CMMG or Nordic?

Yeah...I looked around for the NC, but can't find one anywhere. I think I'll go with one of theirs if I can find one.

I know it can be a PITA getting your hands on a NC upper, as it took me nearly 5 months of weekly checking their website and occasionally calling to see when they thought they might have some available. It is a great product, but unfortunately demand for it has far outstripped supply since it's introduction 2 years ago.

Accuracy wise it's a 1.5-1.25 MOA with bulk pack ammo, but it eats almost EVERYTHING you feed it! About every 1.5k rounds I strip mine and clean out the carbon build up.

I know JP offers a 22 upper which is just a NC with JP handguard and brake (http://www.jprifles.com/1.2.15_22LR.php), and I recall DPMS recently came out with a few 22 uppers (http://www.dpmsinc.com/BA-22-16-br-22-UPPER-RECEIVER_p_136.html).

Sadly, I think you're going to have a hard time finding any of these in stock anytime in the foreseeable future, good luck.
