The photographer should have done some study along with taking pictures.
Those people were doing just fine until some bleeding heart do goober came along and wanted to show them a better life. The way they lived was barbaric. If there wasn't enough food, a few babies would die. The population balanced according to availability of food. That was barbaric.
Then some well meaning idiots started feeding them, told them sit right herenand we will feed you....until they didnt. But the die was cast, so more children were born, and more, and their way of life before, became impossible. Then they began to starve. Because the feeding of the people became a money racket, rife with corruption. And yes, its unfortunate that he killed himself, but its also possible he realized the truth. None of the massive tragedy, was necessary, and was actually avoidable from the start.
The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

Not sure if I think his death was ironic. His suicide note said he'd been "haunted" by all the stuff he'd seen and taken photos of. But I still wonder how much good any of it actually did. I mean, the photographer claimed to have chased the vulture away and SOMEONE got the little boy to the aid station and he didn't die until some fourteen years later... but the guy's thought process, in his own words, reads more like "I used SO much film taking this photo 'cause Imma give people the FEELS and win the Pulitzer." It makes one wonder how much, if at all, he personally helped anyone/thing, or if he was like the onlookers at a fender-bender or what-have-you filming it on their phones.

I caught it about a month ago. was sick throwing up for 4 days with diarrhea for 6 days. total sickness was about 8 days. lost weight and felt like I was going to die. I think I didn't eat a thing for about 3 days into it. finally drank some water. I had to get up to use the bathroom every 5 minutes for almost a week.
The worst was when I took a shower and got diarrhea and threw up at the same time right when I turned on the water. Oh what a joy. Now I bleached the shower. got more sick and went to bed.
