Im about to attempt to bed a ruger M77 MKII....
i ordered the pillars from brownells, the front lug is already cut to fit....
has anyone done this...the problem is that the front pillar is on an angle. The only thing i can figure is set the pillar in place then the action...then move the pillar up to the action all while preventing the devcon from getting in the actions hole>>
any thoughts?

Re: Anyone ever bed a Ruger M&&

I have done a couople and I drilled for the front pillar and waxed the recoil lug and bolt Place the action in the stock and set the front pillar. After it cures then I take the stock and action apart and bed the rear pillar and action at the same time. I'm sure there is a better way, but this has worked for the rifles I have done.
