I know this is an old thread...and I did check this out before buying. Let me tell you of my experience.
I have been looking for an AAC 7.62 Brakeout for quite some time and finally found it here at sportsmans-depot. Free shipping after 150 bucks so I ordered a breakout for a 22-250 I am going to have threaded.(keep in mind it has to ship from the same wharehouse) Bingo 167 dollars for the two. I placed my order, and quickly received a email with the details of my order. I ordered this on a friday afternoon. Monday I got an email saying my order was shipped and provided a tracking number. Good so far. The page is nice in that you can check on your order and see the status at any time. Friday came and I had a box waiting for me at the door. I open it up and it only has the 5.56 brakeout in it. The invoice stated 1 each 5.56 brakeout, with a note that orders may arrive in two different shipments.
but wait. I only got one tracking number. hmmm
problem one...no phone number on their website
you have to chat with them with their own messaging system
I messaged them as soon as I opened the box. asking the following:
Good day, I received an email the other day saying my order was shipped and the website shows "completed" for my order. The email gave a tracking number for one package. One would assume that both products are in the one package. This was not the case. I received only one item. The packing slip also notes that there is only one product inside, and lists that the products may be received at different times. Your website is very misleading only listing one tracking number. Would you be able to send me the tracking information for the second package? Thank you kindly.
any the reply was: "I refunded you for that out of stock item."
my reply was: Why was I not notified this item was "out of stock" and how was I allowed to purchase this out of stock item? I am unable to add it to a cart now. Is the item expected in soon?
**the website seemed real time as other items were listed as out of stock and you were unable to add them to your cart.**
depot reply: "I will let you know when I get them again."
nothing about when they were going to refund my money, or give me an estimate on when the back ordered item would be back in stock. I had to ask about the other shipment and they refunded my money...still pending return. At least they refunded my money but I want a 7.62 brakeout dang it.
