Anyone have a line on some .280 AI brass?

Guys,

Looking to purchase another 200 rounds of .280 AI Brass. No source I know of has it in stock. Anyone know of any place where I can purchase some? Thanks in advance, appreciate the help.

I know you are looking for new brass. Is there a reason you don't fire form your own cases from 280 Rem?

Oh, Ok. I bought 100 new Remington 280 cases, and just loaded them up to fire form not expecting much and the Hornady 139gr load shot less than.5MOA. Needless to say I put some "regular" 280 cases aside with this load to hunt with.

That's what I'm thinking of doing too. Putting together a load with some 162 A-Max, but haven't shot it yet. May end up ordering some regular 280 and fire forming. Or just buying some 280 factory ammo and fire forming that way. Cartridge is either getting popular, or obsolete...

I would say the 1st one. It certainly isn't obsolete.

Why not contact the Nosler factory? They used to be near Bend, Oregon, and would sell over the phone. I used to buy seconds on their bullets whenever I could get them.

Nosler does not have any 280AI brass. Most wholesalers are picked clean. And, Nosler can go several months betwwen shipping brass. Heck they have not released brass annouced for 2012. So best to just get yourself some 280 brass and fireform.....

I have 100 unfired rounds right now, new rifle, figure they won't last very long. Looking to get 5-7 shots out of each of em. Guess I'll be fireforming.
