Anyone have a STR8 laced rear bag I can borrow?

The last thing I need is yet another rear bag. However, I'm curious about the STR8 laced to use with AR stocks; either it will be awesome, or suck. I don't want to bet 60$ and adding yet another rear bag to the pile.

Anyone have one they don't use? I'd be more than happy to pay shipping both ways, and if you're actually wanting to sell it, if it works, I'd buy it as well.

Yeah , but I’m in Aus .... Good bag for minute of muj , super lightweight . There are better options for
very small targets / ELR .

Plus I can't use yours because its upside down.

What's a better bag, just curious? All the TAB like bags work for bolt guns, but the AR stocks fight those kind of bags. I have a Traust but its too 'loose' and has too much give in the fill.

I had one and sold it after I bought my Traust. The Str8 can be made firmer by adjusting the drawstrings but I never warmed up to it.

I have the Reasor Clutch and use the larger one for the rear and the other for an elbow rest. I just bought the new pint size GC as well.

I am a bag whore but still haven't found the perfect all around bag. I don't think there is any such thing.

I have one. I never grabbed it and always grabbed my SAP run and gun bag over it so I let my brother in law use it. If o can get it back for a bit I would send it to you. Personally though, I don't really like it. I use the SAP bag with sopmod stocks fine though.

Yeah this is my problem. For my MRAD either the Traust or any of the TAB bags I have work. For my SOPMOD or other Magpul stocks things go to shit as it seems that one side of whatever bag is too low, other is too high. I can get it to work well with an AR if I really smash the Traust in there, but the fill seems to soften/allow slack.

I basically need whatever the best AR stock bag is.

ETA; maybe something like the Triad Tactical Tapered Bag in large?

One half of the Clutch system is tapered.

Check it out. I love mine

I have both the Triad tapered bag and the STR8. The Triad works best for me with tapered stocks, the STR8 with flat bottomed ones. The STR8's downside is the super lite fill, and not much of it. I've a large box of small plastic pellets inbound, going to cut some thread and replace the lite fill. Should make it more gooder.

Best bag I've ever found for a AR stock is large wheat filled sock. Even that settles after a few shoots. But it does conform to any shape.

If you're using a CTR stock, LaRue makes a "Prone Optimizing Device" (POD) that attaches to the stock and gives you a square profile on the heel of the stock to work with any rear bag.

I think they used to cost a few bucks but it looks like current pricing is absolutely asinine. A piece of aluminum channel or whatever, cut and contoured would work for almost no money into it.

Let the hellfire rain down upon me for referencing the Great Satan of accessories
