i ordered a custom CBI bbl, i told the company i got it from i wanted threaded at the factory... that didnt happen... so i can have mark at SAC do it for 125, or send it back to CBI for 60+ shipping.. CBI will warranty the accuracy if they do it..

anyone ever have a issue with CBI?

he didnt charge me, and says it wasnt listed on the order...
i asked for a 24" 260 match chamber with 5/8x24 thread... i guess he didnt hear that last part....
i wanted to have this ready for a match on april 7th... but not seeing it since this will be 2 weeks, then i will be nitriding everything, give me no time to test a load in the gun..

so ill be using my savage for the match

You'll blow the warranty when you SBN the barrel anyway, plus you know that no one is going to do a higher quality job threading it than Mark @ SAC, so what's to think about??

You shouldn't have any problems with the CBI barrel. There are several of them around here which are shot at Rayner's that were threaded by someone other than the factory and they shoot great. I'm sure Mark will be able to take care of you.
