Anyone have pics of the bedding area of McRees and XLR Element chassis?

I'm trying to make my final decision between an XLR Element and a McRees G5 for my Savage, but I'd like to see what the 'innards' look like first. Anyone have pics of the inside of either chassis? I can't find anything really with a Google image search. Thanks.

Thanks, brother. That IS helpful. It's interesting how the recoil lug abutment in the stock before bedding was kind of 'stepped'. I wonder why McRees didn't make it just a nice vertical flat?

Yes, the cutout is simply for weight reduction.

I think I put my Element together so fast when it was delivered that I didn't even take the time to look at that area of the chassis. I FREAKIN LOVE that chassis. Thanks for the pic, Kyle.

The inletting action area in the XLR chassis is really well machined. It fits to the action like a glove (both the body and recoil lug). IMHO no needs to glass/skim bed it.

There is no need to bed a Element, atleast not a Rem700 or clone type action. I can not speak for your Savage.
