I'm looking for information and help trying to get my first coyote in NH.

I'm in the concord area (central NH) I've not been able to call in any yotes hand calling yet. I've only been out a few times though. It seems to me like there a little more rare around here than other parts of the country.

Anyone have any tips for me? Maybe places to go, what kind of calling to do etc? Time of year or anything helpful to bagging a yote in this neck of the woods?

Re: Anyone in NH do any coyote hunting?

Calling coyotes in the NE offers its own set of challenges, thanks to both terrain and the coyotes themselves.
Sit longer on stand, use the right sounds, make only bulletproof, solid setups and NEVER forget the wind. Be confident, be patient, and try your best to not educate them the first time around. If you do, they will be exponentially more difficult to dupe. That last part goes for anywhere in the country...

Visit NPHA's Forums We've got our yearly coyote contest going on now, and our little gang has already kilt over 120 coyotes since October 1st. Those guys know how to kill coyotes, and will help you get on the right track...
