Not sure where to post this, but have been kicking this idea around and wanted to offer simple machined or turned parts if anyone needs something that they can't find, or just a custom bracket/plate, adapter, etc. I'm a decent machinist for what I have to work with, but there's nothing like experience and I enjoy helping brothers out. Not looking to make money from this, so I would only ask you to cover shipping and maybe material cost unless I can work from a scrap piece. So post up or PM me and let me know what you guys need.

Note: I don't have the ability to plate/anodize metal - if another member does, that would be cool...

If you could somehow figure out making a DBM for an AI in a manners stock, you would be one busy man. There are tons of threads about putting AIs in manners stocks and it always comes down to a lack of bottom metal. If you wanted to devote your time and effort to doing that, you wouldnt need to make anything else, I imagine.

Offer an adapter plate that has a 3/8-16 threaded hole in the center and the ADM QD lever footprint on one side. Idea is that it will allow one to run an ADM QD pic rail directly on a tripod apex or leveling base. For those that have a pic rail on their riles, I can't think of a simpler, lighter QD mount option.

    Put me down for one.

I really could have used your services had I saw this post a couple weeks ago. I needed a custom mount made for my Leica Tempus red dot so I can mount it to a pic rail. Every gunsmith I asked to do it refused for various reasons.

    Awesome offfer!

Need a spacer made and walking into a local machine shop for a one off doesn't not work well. I will do some measurements tonight and PM some details. We will see what we can workout!

    Thanks very much!!

I could use a new barrel channel for my Savage b17. I could send you the original for a bit of a template. I am trying to get one with shorter side rails.

Could you make these standoffs for the XLR cheek pieces and what would it cost? I would probably need 3 pairs.

I know a few people that could use a larger lug lock for an MPA chassis. For use with Nucleus.

Simple aluminum cylinder with a tapped screw hole.
If you have dimensions, please PM me...

Did you ever get any dimensions or a working one of these I know someone has done it I just don’t know the diameter but I Could really use a few of these gladly get you whatever you need for time+materials

Forgot to take picture of the non-tapered section but it was .500”. Threads were 10-32.

The diameter I would need is 7/16. This part is just aluminum, not sure of grade or temper.

Do you this will work for a defiance action at that size I’m not sure what you are using from what mpa said the problem with defiance action is the lug is short not necessarily that it’s thin I will take a look tonight and see what it needs

    Saved for reference

What are those spacers made out of?

Big thanks to Owl for making some spacers for my Bergara BMP stock!

In the prone position, the original maximum length of pull did not allow me get get comfortable or solid behind the rifle and keep the proper eye relief on the scope. With the added spacers that Owl made, it's perfect. I even have a few extra spacers.

Owl is legit! Today he shipped out a custom Base to Ogive comparator insert for my OAL gauge. Excellent communication!!

He was very appreciative of what I contributed in exchange for his service. I don't know about you guys, but he is offering one hell of a service for one-off custom/prototype machining services.

I had the same experience with him. Made some custom pillars for a 3D printed DBM prototype for me. Parts came back very precisely machined in a very timely fashion. He's a legit dude.
