Hello all. I am considering the APO Mod-1 chassis for an upcoming .300 win build. With my discount the price comes within about 100 bucks of the AI chassis and I like supporting local companies. APO is only about 2 hrs away from me. I've been looking at the different hand guards and it looks like I'm going with the super sport. My first question pertains to the monolithic rail that runs the length of the action and hand guard. It comes in various slopes with the highest being 60 moa. Anything wrong with going with this much rise and still planing on using a 20 moa Sphur mount. I just want to make sure I can still zero the rifle at 100 yards, but I want as much elevation as possible because I prefer dialing in on longer shots. My second question pertains to color. I'm at a crossroads between FDE and OD green. Some of the pics of the APO fde look very yellow and I'm just not sure if it's the paint or the lighting. I'm also not sure about the OD green. If anyone out there is running any APO chassis, could you please post a pic or two so I can see what I'm getting myself into? Also what do you like or dislike about the chassis???

That was my first thought. But If your rifle has 100 moa of adjustment wouldn't it seem like you could find your zero somewhere in the bottom 20 moa??

Not really. Ideally if a scope has 100moa of adjustment, and its optically centered that means it has roughly 50moa up and 50moa of down.
