Tried the search function on here with no luck.

Anyway, bought a 716 patrol knowing it has the suppressed setting on the gas system. No where close to ready to shoot this thing yet, but will soon. Anyone running a can on one? How is it running and any problems so far?

Have seen the videos of it running with a can on youtube, but they give no details about it for the most part. Even saw one guy running supposed subsonic 308 and still cycling fine. Seems like wishful thinking to me.

Thanks!

I hope to let you know soon, I'm 7 months into my sdn-6. I have a 716 and love it, I just recently reached it out to 350 and was impressed.

No first hand experience but a recent episode of Guns and Ammo tv had segment on Sig and their new line of suppressors. They discussed their rifles and their performance with suppressors. I know it's a tv show and all but they had 516 and 716s they looked good to go. They are even selling a lot of their rifles with the option of having it integrally suppressed.

I'm currently running a Sig 716 with an AAC Cyclone and, SSA trigger. I'm working up some reload data for her but have not had much time. Rifle has about 1000 rounds total. The first 200 I had moderate FTE or FTF issues. Called Sig, tried some new ammo and it persisted through the break in. Sig gave me a prepaid FedEx label and two weeks later she came back with a new bolt, carrier, and polished feed ramps. Shot like a dream ever since.

I have about 250 rounds through the current set up without issue. She really seems to love 168-175 FGMM or IMR 4895 with 168 grain SMK. I have yet to try subsonic. Very happy with Sig, the rifle and, suppressor thus far. She will shoot sub MOA if treated right and the Cyclone is very quiet with a minimal repeatable POI shift.

I had a Sig 716 Patrol and it was a Sub MOA shooter with Hornady AMAX 155 grain ammo. I shot it mostly with an AAC 762 SDN-6 Suppressor and it worked flawlessly. It would have a 2" drop from the POI when the can was installed at 100 yards. The accuracy actually improved with the suppressor installed. I put around 300 rounds thru the Sig 716 Patrol with the Suppressor installed and I had no issues at all.

I sold my 1/2 MOA Sig 716 Patrol to buy a new Sig 716 Precision Marksman rifle. I have it all good to go and will shoot it when the weather improves. I wanted a longer barrel to help burn all of the powder before the round leaves the barrel. I also feel that the longer barrel will help make the rifle a little quieter with the can installed. I am looking forward to shooting this Sig 716 Precision Marksman rifle.

I don't have one but my shooting buddy does and he runs 168 gr FGMM through his without a hiccup. He also has some Corbon subsonic that he hasn't tried yet. I'll see if I can't get him to chime in here.
