I had my 4" barreled Ruger MK III 22/45 Threaded.
I use a Gemtech Outback II.
I also modified the frame to use 1911 grips.
The combo works awesome. The 4" barrel keeps bulk pack ammo subsonic. However it is much quiter with subsonic ammo.

One of the best platforms you can use, especially with the III's new chamber dimension and load indicator. Want the quietest pistol in the world? Go integral, not blast can. Put your barrel under compression tension and shoot only high velocity (infinitely cleaner) and copper washed bullets. You will end up with the shortest, most accurate, most quiet, strongest and no more timing/POI issues as well. Pick your brand by listening to them, but go integral. Every time you pull the trigger its just barely subsonic..you want quiet right?

I had my 5.5 chopped and threaded as well to keep the value pack 22's sub sonic. I put a QD mount that allows me to run my checkmate on the mkIII or 10/22 with the flick of the wrist.

No experience with integrals, but with an element its pretty amazing. Only the higest velocity ammo will break the sound barrier out of a short pistol. Mostly shoot cheap HV federals. When it gets dirty I just clean it and move it from host to host.

I bought the stainless MKIII and then installed a 4" TacSol threaded barrel, my daughter tends to claim this whenever were out shooting.

I almost never recommend integral suppressors any more. The current crop of high-tech thread-on cans are within 1-2dB of the best integral, and you can use them on more than one gun.
If you get a Paclite receiver (they are flipping awesome) you can have the look of an integral with a muzzle can. Here's mine:

yes with the tac-sol upper for the mark III.
it's better to get the non integrated so you can use the same suppressor for a 10/22 or something.

I have an integrally-suppressed MKIII from John's Guns. It's quiet, accurate, and looks really good. I highly recommend all their integrally suppressed guns. I have their MKII, 77/22, and FN Patrol.

My local dealer has the Oasis for $675.00, thought that was a bit steep but it's actually the lowest price I found. I have several 22 cal. suppressors, but I'm interested in checking out the Gemtech. The HVT I own is a very nice suppressor, I guess the Oasis will be slick also. I'm going to look at a few other integrals before I go to the bank though.

Got mine from John Norrel in Little Rock,Ar. It shoots very well and is very quiet. It will not cycle hollow points though, which isn't that big of an issue to me.

Oasis is now off the list. Talked to several manufactures (salesmen of course) who advised that the Oasis is merely a short barrel and a baffle stack whereas other units are a true integral. Keeping my options open, also looking into having Liberty stuff one of their inserts in my Williams Mfg. can.

I just had my factory barrel threaded and use a SWR Warlock on it. Functions great no matter what I put in it. Most rounds hover at the high end of subsonic, actual subsonic rounds are a little quieter. I just wet the can a little when I need real quiet. I'm super happy with mine, great little plinker.

No, it isn't that big of an issue to me. It cycles round nose just fine.

If your only curious? I`d go with a Tactical Innovations model TAC 65...Great suppression for $225.00. Plus don`t forget your $200.00 tax stamp.What ever you do buy a .22 suppressor that can be disassembled for cleaning...The .22 is a super messy round

I already have a .22 can and am waiting for my glock barrel to come back from Tornado Tech. I want a suppressed ruger. I like the integrals better. They look better to me, and have a longer sight radius. Those stainless integrals just look sweet to me. And they are slightly quieter.

Do you know if TBA makes non-integral .22 cans? (I would like to be able to switch it from rifle to pistol.) I was thinking about a SWR Spectre, but TBA is less than 20 min. from my house and I have heard good stuff about them.

I gave it to a friend whose son was molested by the ex-husband, but that shirt used to get me high fives from little old ladies in the supermarket.

I sent my Mk II to Dale at Elite Iron for an integral build. VERY quiet and accurate! The suppressor is also serviceable by unscrewing the front cap and removing the baffle stack. Had him apply a blasted finish using copper slag. I usually shoot CCI standard velocity through it, but found out that Remington subsonics will cycle the action....I think they're on the verge of being truly subsonic in a standard firearm.

No experience with the Kodiak TL, but I do own one of the Shoofly cans they offer.......it's quiet! Like mouse fart quiet. It actually metered at a lower db than a Norrell integral 1022.

Hey guys, I REALLY want one of these Ruger Mark III w/ suppressor. Either integral or can, it doesn't matter to me. I'd prefer a stainless though. Where can I find one? I haven' seen any dealers advertising them online.

I had my barrel shortened just as much as we could shorten it and still leave the front sight on, then left a half inch to thread, very quiet, just a bitch to tear down and clean like all ruger pistols
