And care to share their experience? Do you load it so the legs push the rifle up? I shoot at slightly below horizon angles often and would like to use it as such, but it seems so inconsistent and flimsy. Not knocking Atlas, but with the pan, tilt, and play it seems you can load the legs unevenly quite easily.

I've had no issue loading the legs when locked at that angle. My adjustment knob is pretty tight but no issues with pan or tilt either. On long strings, if I haven't built a good position, I have had to straighten the legs a couple times...my own fault, poor form on those occasions; level doesn't move otherwise. The play is intentional, not much load required (raising the rifle would be too much IMO). Atlas bipods are as consistent as you are capable of operating.

I find you can cheat a bit with weird positional shots where the barricade or rock or whatever isn't wide enough for a good 'bench' kinda position, fold the legs back at 45 and extend them and you can get some support on pretty thin stuff that the Harris guys can't use the same way, if you can dump a wiebad under it too its even better
