considering trying it for some short range plinking ammo

the steel casing makes me wonder if it'll damage the extractor over time (AI action)

FMJ over lead, says non-corrosive but I don't know if that is true

Don't need match ammo for short range plinking. When playing with friends using standard ARs, I'm wasting $ using match ammo, I don't like shooting semi. Tried my own ARs on bipod, midlength, heavy buffer, suppressed... but the recoil impulse just isn't fun for me.

I can grab a .223 bolt gun, but sometimes carrying multiple cases back and forth gets old.

Love the idea of grabbing cheap ammo for 400 yard meaningless plinking

My PWS 7.62x39 is well over 10k rounds and it's never seen a single piece of brass......all mother russia's bestess cheapest. Tula, Wolf, Red Army, Brown Bear, Golden Tiger and probably a few others

Tell me more please.
What do you want to know?

I just wouldn’t shoot it an AI simply because an AI doesn’t deserve that. It’s not great ammo. It’s not consistent because it can come from like 5 or 6 different factories. The AK stuff is fine because, well it’s an AK. But an AI at least deserves something better.

It is rebranded tul ammo, it goes boom, as others said I wouldn't shoot it in my nice rifles much, just because of the wear using the hard steel versus brass. Just plinking with a ak or ar let it eat.
