Ive been shooting 175 mk out of my 308 for years with good results. I'm considering switching things up, just curious if anyone has switched to the 175 tipped match kings and if they like them or not.

I tried them (.308). They are extremely jump sensitive and due to secant ogive I could not even get close to mag length with them loaded to where they wanted.
I don't have my load notes but I think it was around 2.98" AOL to get them at .020 jump.
Also the bullets are very long. At mag length, with mild powder charges, I was seeing pressure signs. Most I ran was 43.5 of Varget before I stopped due to pressure.
Loading for a factory chambered Rem 700 with a deep throat though.

I used them sucessfully & eventually found a load that performed well but Lord-o mighty they were fussy bullets to get to that point. Once I tried the new Nosler 175 RDF there was no looking back...dumb-ass easy to get to shoot well with wide bands of good shooting nodes & not sensitive like the TMK's.

Edit; where's the bloody delete button for duplicate posts?!

I appreciate the input, I had bought a box and noticed that the OAL might be an issue. I hadn't heard about the Nosler offering I'll check that out. I think I'll look into the hornady 178 eld also.
