I just started using the mil dial on this scope and it seems like it takes a few shots to settle in. I was out of time for the day so I didnt get to check into it a bunch but I have 2 of these scopes and it seemed like they both shot poorly for the first 5 shots after an elevation change and the same thing when returning to zero. Anyone else seen this?

I had that exact scope in a 3-9 model mounted on a 22lr for shooting out to 200 yards . It worked good in that role and I never had issues with tracking but the most I would ever dial was like 6 mils . I'm not sure I would trust it though for any kind of serious shooting , the knobs just don't feel very robust to me.

Thanks. If the wind ever quits blowing here I am going to verify if it is a problem or not. I see quite a few people viewed this thread but did not reply , maybe they are wondering the same thing. I will post my findings when I come to a solid answer on the matter. On the upside, if there is an issue I am sure leupold will take care of it.

They will fix it if it doesn't work, so far Leupold customer service has gone above and beyond for me. They replaced several optics at no cost when I broke them and it wasn't their fault. Good luck with it and let us know what you find.
