Anyone using Starline Large Primer 6.5 Creedmoor brass?

I was very happy with it for multiple reasons for the first two firings. I just noticed two pieces with super loose primer pockets for whatever reason. They were part of the batch that went through load development pushing the powder charge on the high side but nothing crazy. I have never experienced this on any other brass after only 2 firings. Maybe those two were just a fluke. Be aware the necks are seriously small out of the box. I had to run an expander through them to open them up. Not a big deal to me since I run all new brass through the die before loading.

I agree with everything posted above. It is very comparable to prime/norma brass as well. I also had to use an expander mandrel on the starline for the first loading. I was able to push 147eld in the high 2800 fps out of a 24 inch 8 twist stock tikka without any issues with the starline brass. Primer pockets are still tight. I couldn't say the same for hornady brass.

The lot I bought had slightly thicker necks than hornady. It will need turned to fit into my match chamber. Chamfering alone won’t cut it. The Hornady match factory stuff fits fine.

running it in 223 rem, 6 creed and 6.5 creed. I went with the small rifle primer pockets though. no issues, great internal case capacity, very tight #s. neck walls are all around .00145 with average .001 to .0015 variance.
