Practice, crap.. to late for me to change my plans.@Diver160651 Jim our match is on Sunday...practice and set up and tomorrow...I know it’s late...I’m going to talk to these guys about the late calls tomorrow
WTF did you do?Practice crap.. to late for me to change my plans.
I am keeping my excuses.. my ammo has a 100es, broke ribs before the last weekends match.. but honestly isn’t the real issue.. I'll find a better excuse.. before Sunday..
After the Slo match on Sat.. entire side is kinda yellow.. That's from just bellow my armpit to the belt area..
Doesn't really effect the shooing as much as it does the fun..

WTF did you do?
ES had a couple IPAs and used 292 neck bushing instead of the 289. With all the jump I have with the 123s I think the bullets are not getting consistent ignition. I loaded a shit ton.. almost out maybe 2 more matches.. really not to bad out to 700 or so if the targets are fair. Prone sized targets, well it kinda sucks but oh well.so now we have resorted to braking ribs for an excuse?
but seriously WTF happened??? and a 100fps ES? again WTF is that all about and what cal is this happening in?
take it easy and get heeled up and hopefully will see you at a match this year.

I am coming, but committed Saturday because I thought the thing was canceled- But instead of leaving Friday and shooting NRL22 Saturday, need to leave my house Sunday morning around 2am yuk...
Just don’t hug me - lol

PS what is the station 25.5inHg?
That picture sums it all up.
I’m waiting on plates for a new car. I wonder if IH8IPA is available?
Nope, ask @Diver160651 he was driving that thing back and forth a Coalinga! Audi is made for off road!Do I need to pave our road in for your new fancy car??
His new car literally makes light sculptures- Such a first world problem.Definitely not. What we got was more rugged (although a far cry from the Land Rovers I used to drive).
We bought an X3 because my wife kept seeing the Avenal dirt on her bitch bucket and concluded “it no longer addressed the use case”.

I am not low enough drag for either of them
i doubt we are going to shoot this weekend especially if we have rain the next 3 days like they are calling for...someone was out at the range last weekend and jimmy would not let them go to the target shed.
Great shooting the match with you guys..
47 made one of the coolest props I’ve sceen in that it is super flexible and the tires spin..

Definitely need to add one to our match..
Thanks again for being so helpful.
Jim
Lol sounds like your fibbing to make me feel better, other than the two prone stages that I basically gave up on, the ribs were not the issueAny time and great meeting you today and good shooting I think you were 6th or 7th 39 or 40 which is damn good for first time and broken ribs your a stud!!!

Yeah like how to plant your muzzle in the dirt with a sling.
That is what you call a tomato stake.
You did really well, given what you were dealing with. I, too, was impressed at how quickly you changed out the scope rings.
Also, @Diver160651 deserves some serious props. For those reading along, here’s what happened: @2aBaCa showed up and needed to zero his new rifle (first bolt). @Diver160651 helped him, but when @Swoodhouse19 told them they had to stop because it was time for us to get started, there was still an offset between POA/POI. @Diver160651 the gets out his phone and works out the DOPE for the determined offset for every target in the match booklet.
I ended up shooting with @2aBaCa, and he did damned well given that situation and it was his first match!
This is the kind of treatment new shooters can expect at the Avenal match. @Swoodhouse19 is a stand-up dude and runs a great match. @Diver160651 pitches in to support new shooters, and there are a bunch of other great guys who will help anyone there.
@M113A3 i hope you’ll join us down there!
Hi Chris - sorry for the long delay in my reply... The short answer is yes I do need to take a trip down there with you. Glad you are now part of the little group of shooters I am in! We also need to go to the Tehama range\match.
