After thoroughly trying to destroy it in true APA fashion we decided to make the switch over to stainless steel. We built some for the APA shooting Team guys to try out first. You can thank those guys for being Guinea pigs.
As it turns out they worked really well. Beyond that we took one with zero lube on it and tried to over tighten it. We tried hard enough that we rounded all the edges of the nut over and broke the gears in the crescent wrench.
We had zero issues.

The XXX will remain 4140 but all of the other Gen II's will only be available in the near future.

We also have material on the way to prototype a new Gen II brakes tailored specifically for the Cheytac guys. More on that soon.

We are running pretty low on the Gen II LB's. I know Mark at OTM should have some. He carries almost all of our brakes. For those that don't know Mark you should…… On the Mark-Everything for the Marksman! (904-364-2125)

We are also considering making the LB's with a 30 cal hole standard and the FB a standard hole for 338's. The reason behind it is simple. It's simpler from a production stand point and these brakes don't need a tight tolerance around the bullet
in order to work. Surgeon was doing the same thing with our brakes and it just makes since to do it that way.
