Hunting & Fishing APA in Africa

Re: APA in Africa

Thanks for keeping the story going Jered. These pictures are amazing, and it seems like you guys are having a great time. The wood on that rifle stock is awesome. What happens to the leopard? A taxidermy job and leopard sandwiches for the locals?

What kind of belt is that you are running with the knife and cartrige loops?

That's made buy Spec Ops Brand under the Texas Hunt Co name. The belt comes in a package deal with all the necessary pouches you need. Very cool set up check it out.

Re: APA in Africa

We were without a generator for 2 days and internet for more. New generator arrived but we had to wait on another satellite deal to come in with the girls. They had a rough landing but they are OK. The plane is going to need a little pick me up.

We have been after lion and elephant for the past few days. Tom picked up a Springbok on day 16 and an Oribi on day 15. Day 14 was another buffalo.

We have a good lion on bait and are taking the girls in the blind in the AM so gotta hit the rack. Wish us luck!

Re: APA in Africa

Really nice picture Jared! I would think it must be quite an experience to go to Africa and hunt with friends.

How do the girls feel about flying now? Looks like the prop got shined up a little. Glad everyone is still smiling!

Re: APA in Africa

The girls weren't shaken too bad. They took the entire deal very well actually.

Yes the one photo is a Cliff Springer. When they hunt stops the beverages start. Sometimes I get a little sideways and forget what I'm typing. I'm back in Arusha today. Now we start the Journey home. I can't wait to make some chips. It's amazing how good it feels to actually want to go to work. I think I have the best job on the planet and appreciate you guys supporting in it.

See you guys soon. We have a lot to talk about. This thread could go forever.

Congrats on the hunt of a lifetime! You guys did great!

I hope you got all this huntin out of your system. I need a gift to open on Christmas morning or I'll be real dissapointed! Time to trade in the safari apparel for some work clothes.
