But if that's your thing, I'd suggest you PM Lowlight and start by kicking him in the balls. He's the big bad one you're looking for.

If you wanna be part of the group, do it like you'd do it in real life. That's how we roll. The only reason we're on the computer and not hanging out in person is because we all live all over the place. But this is very much a tight knit community and not at all like most of the other internet forums out there; we actually put actions before words. Being new, try to find things you agree with us about and start there. You obviously saw something here of value, you joined.

Did you know that some (actually most) of the people you've called out on here since you've been here have donated many dollars towards various charities? Fulfilled (more than a few) entire GoFundMe projects? Did you know that these guys have donated money to each other when another was in a time of need? They covered my entire lawyer costs when I had a surprise Christmas divorce and were here for me when nobody else was. Then some of us have very unique and valuable skills and will jump at the chance to help another member. Did you know some of these guys will spend their own money and go out of their way just to help you too? And it's not like you gotta be here ten years to get accepted either, we've got a bunch of new guys lately and many of them are adding to the quality of the community here.

So chill out, get to know us. And yes, you can disagree, it's called the "bear pit" for a reason. And you know what? All the shit you're catching is the same shit I've caught in the past from time to time. None of it's personal. We still help each other out in the real world. Nobody has branded you a Gecko45 or a Poppacock yet. Trust me, if you poke the bear you'll find out there are some things we all agree on regardless of opposing views.

So welcome. And as much as I'd love for another Poppacock to come along, and he will, I'd much rather see you become a productive member of the community.
