What’s the better bang for the buck??

i prefer the garmin , i like the gps, if you set your tgts across the desert you can find them again and have the ranges to tgts.
agreed if your getting bolth why the question?

If you’re setting up a range maybe Garmin, otherwise Kestrel all day.

Garmin doesn’t help much with environmental data.

Gamin gives you temp and pressure , I leave humity at 50 percent

Purchase a cheap version of a gps or purchase a cheaper version of a wind meter.

I've run kestrels at work for years and use the hornady 4DOF app for my personal shooting. Kestrel is super convenient cause it has a weather tower in it so it updates your firing solution all the time.

Since you're getting both.... Use them for 3 months and give us a detailed review. Then I will know.

For shooting, you need the Kestrel anyway, so get it in the Kestrel.
