CO-LR pics and thoughts
First off I wanted to make it clear I'm not associated with, nor do I have anything to do with Delta4-3 other then I bought a CO-LR unit from him last week and wanted to post my thought so far on it. Here we go, it showed up....FAST! . I paid 20$ shipping and he sent it 2 day priority mail that cost him 49$(Seen postage sticker on box) to send!!! Hell of a good guy!!! So after a great turkey hunt with the wife we picked up the unit at the PO that morning and took it home. After popping the top on a cold beer(it was noon) I finger fucked every part on it like a bad bad girlfriend! Awesome fit and finish! Mounted up solid after adjusting the QD levers. Now the wait began. Drinking "soda pops" of course, and waiting on the sun to set like a damn vampire! Took some camera shots at 140 yards(my deer feeder) and 200 yards(silhouette) through the tube that came out ok. It's hard to get the camera to focus on the black, green, and illum all in tube at the same time. If that wasn't hard enough alone, I was buzzing from all the "soda pops" I consumed that day! It was very dark out with NO moon at all! Unit preformed well with an illuminator as figured. Fuzzy with out. But that's to be expected on a dark night.pics of 140 yards with and without illumination using AR with Acog 4x and pics at 200 yards with and without illum on MK12 with ST-10 10x. The 200 yard pic looks blurry because my illu splashed back off a grass incline that was half way between the target and I. I will try to take a better pic on flat ground. Just note the actual view at 200 was just as clear as the 140 yard pic came out. The spots that can be seen in the pic are NOT on the tube but instead came from dust and rain drops that were on the lens of my IR illuminator. The gen 3Alpha tube was spotless and I would recommend it to anyone trying to save a few bucks.First a Set up pic on ST10, sorry I didn't take one on the AR with acog. Yes I also got a FREE t-shirt as seen in pic!
