Some time ago I had read about one of the major gas gun brands coming out with a AR in 338 Lapua (and no, im not thinking of the AR-30). Just wonder if anyones heard anything about this or knows if this exists?
I was planning on starting a new ar-10 build in the near future, but if someones making ar's in 338lm or theres a way to build on, i think im going to have to give it a try.
Thanks and Happy Shooting!

Sorry if theres already some huge thread about this archived in here somewhere, but i did search and couldnt find anything.

Re: AR in .338 lapua

Do some research on Bushmaster. I was on a forum awhile back and read they are working on putting a semi auto 338 lapua together. They were working on cutting down the weight of the rifle last I read. I will try to find the model# and let you know.I tried researching it a bit myself and couldn't find much info on it.

Re: AR in .338 lapua

Thanks Demolition, using bushmaster as a jump off point I foundo out some info. If anyone else was interested in this topic, I found that it was actually Cobb who developed the ar in 338lm. When Bushmaster bought Cobb they used Cobb's work to develop the BA338. It was shown at the NRA show in 08 but has yet to be developed into a prodution rifle. Looks like im outta luck!
