I am looking at buying a new AR. I found two that I like, one is made by Smith-Wesson M&P and the other by Bushmaster. Prices are almost the same (MSRP, and only a $1 difference). Which would be a better Choice? I am leaning towards the Smith-Wesson but wanted to hear peoples opinions.

Have you thought of looking at the more custom guns such as Specialized Dynamics? But what models of each?

I'd go with the Smith. I've owned both, and the Smith smokes the Bushy by a mile. There are many reasons why, but I feel that you get more for your money with the Smith & Wesson. Just my 2 cents.

Between the two, I would get the S&W. Bushmaster just doesn't seem to have the quality that they use to.
