AR10 Build Ammo Question

I am looking to build a 308 AR10. I was just wondering what the common twist rate guys are using for FGMM 175gr box ammo. Any help would be great.

1-10 if I'm not mistaken. That's what my rifle has and I believe the LWRC also has a 1-10, or maybe it's a 1-11 twist. I'm sure someone else will chime in on this topic.

1-11.25 will stabilize up to 190gr. 1-10 will do 200gr +. either of them will stabilize 175gr just great.

SR-25 1-11.25 and it loves 175 Sierra's even though they rec 168

1:11.25 is pretty common for rifles pushing 175s. That's what you'll find in the armalite T uppers.

Good to note the 1:10 for the heavies, but wonder if you could get them to shoot well with low wear if you don't have an adjustable gas system?

I have a 1-12 kreiger that does NOT like the 175's. It shoots the 155 palmas and the 168smk the best. In my experience 1-11.25 or tighter seems to be good and a 1-12 is a gamble.

In my LMT it is 1:11.25 I believe.
