Ar10 dry fire training

Finally got into an AR10 rifle and had a training / dry fire specific question. Everyone says how much harder it is to shoot the AR10 platform. Is anyone here doing dry fire on small frame that has the same trigger as their AR10? I have a mantis blackbeard for my AR15, and was gonna work on prone and tripod tripod fundamentals with it, but in hopes to get better directly on the AR10. Anyone else do this? Or should I be handling the AR10 to get the best benefit?
