Hello all, I have been using a Rock River 2 stage trigger in my AR. It somewhat broke on me the other day. There is no more 1st stage and has a crunchy/creepy feel to it. I took it in and out 100 times to see whats up. Cant see anything. My question to you now is what is a good reliable trigger. Nothing fancy like a Geissele, Timney, etc... Just a good 4-5 pound clean trigger. Thanks!

-Tried the search function and didn't find much..

Re: AR15 trigger question.

If you are looking for a cheap way out, a stock trigger worked over by Bill will do the job. If you want the best trigger for the money get the Geissele SSA. They are available for around $150 and can't be beat IMO.

Re: AR15 trigger question.

The problem with your trigger is known to RRA, and it's fairly easy to fix. If you give them a call, I suspect they will repair it for free.

Re: AR15 trigger question.

I agree, it never hurts to contact the vendor. If nothing else you may save someone else the headache by bringing it to thier attention. I really like RRA triggers, but you have many to choose from.

Good call, I didn't even think about contacting them. Don't know why..

Re: AR15 trigger question.

Yesterday I put a JP Fire Control System in my AR and after all the tweaking (that is on the DVD instructions) Its outstanding
No creep No over travel nice and crisp 4 pounds. Wish I would have done it sooner
