I've got two 16" at 1:9... also have a 16" barrel to swap out that is 1:7.

Oh yeah, I have another that's got a 16" barrel and is 1:15... But that one shoots .22LR!

1-8 on my Bushy Predator hunter and a 1-7.7 on my Douglas barreled Rem. 700 F-class stick.

1-7 on my WOA 14.5" stainless

1-9 on my Bushmaster 20" HBAR

I would think 1-9 would be fine if you plan on mostly shooting the cheaper lighter bullets, and the 1-8 or 1-7 would be a better choice for the heavier stuff. (Which tend to be more expensive)

1:9 on my Bushy Xm15E2S 20" Hbar... Shoots they 62's like a dream! Next on deck is a 1:7 or 1:8 for some more versatility with the heavies....

I use 1:8" in all my ARs. Would not mind 1:7.5" or even 1:7" either.
For the bullets I shoot, I see no point in owning a 1:9" or higher.
