The Magpul Pmag LR20's are nice, but I'm looking for some 10 round mags for my LMT MWS rifle (DPMS pattern).

I see that DPMS makes a 10 round 308 Win steel magazine that is well regarded but I see that AR-Stoner seems to be making some as well that include an anti-tilt follower.

Does anybody have any experience with both the DPMS and AR-Stoner 10 round 308 mags and can shed some light on which ones were favorable?

Looks like they permanently pin the floorplates on those modded mags. They look great but how the heck do you service them if you can't take them apart?

Magpul releasing a real 10rd mag would be an excellent solution but alas, nothing is in the plans.

Have you had any feeding issues these mags??

Are these the only guys who have modified Magpul magazines?

I am also looking for 5 round magazines.... Thanks

I use the full 20's more than the 5's but have not had any issues.
I should mention that I just got the gun this year and bought the 5's this summer to use for Elk. I've shot them on one range session just to test they operate and didn't have issues. However, one range session doesn't tell the tale. My elk hunt got cancelled due to work so I didn't even get to walk with it.
I know there are other hiders who use them because they were recommended to me here. Maybe we'll get more chime in.

And to the rebuild, I suppose you'd have to drive the pins out and replace them. Again, I have not employed heavy use so to this point I have not even considered it. I'd probably look to buying another mag if it got to that point, I only bought a pair to comply with hunting regs for semi's in Colorado. (5 rd limit.)
I'm going to be doing some more prone shooting so I'll definitely use them for that and probably look to pick up some 10's if they continue to perform as they should.

Inogame, Thanks for the feed back.

I'm looking for mags for a new GAP 10.

These seem to be the only ones I found that I really like and was curious if they could take the abuse of hunting.

Thanks Again.

Not hunting, but used a Midwest PX 7 round mag as the primary mag for a recent school (600 rds in 5 days). The mag worked fine, but it won't drop free (I imagine it has to do with the lack of weight since so much is cut off). During the school we had cold rainy weather, and lots of beating the rifles up.
