Gunsmithing ARC Nucleus with barloc

I'm installing a savage prefit barrel onto an ARC nucleus action with barloc. Should I use an anti-seize compound on the threads or any other kind of lubricant? Thanks.

Anti sieze and you should be good to go.

On what? The cross bolt, maybe. I don't see the point of putting any on the tenon. Not that doing so would hurt a thing, but why?

Some one feel free to correct me if I'm missing something obvious.

A little on the barrel/nut threads won't hurt.

A little anti-seize is a good thing, but if you are putting it together and don't have any on hand, I wouldn't sweat it either.

I put some little anti-seize on the tenons of my barloc setup. It mainly for the action and barrel. With all the things a rifle can be exposed to at a match, it just a little insurance.

A quality EP-2 grease is fine also.
