Looking for an Arca-Swiss window mount for bino's and a spotting scope. Not looking for anything fancy, just something that will work. Scope/Bino's that will be used already have Arca-Swiss plates on the bottom and not really looking to remove them (they also work on my tripod).

thanks

Just want to be able to use bing's and spotting scope off the window or similar item when I am not using my tripod. I currently have a RRS Leveling base and that is why I am looking for something that will work with an ARCA-SWISS style plate. Nothing too complicated, just want to be in the vehicle at times or mount something on a sheet of plywood or the like.

You can select other ballheads, but this mini bc-18 is strong! We can do some other stuff as well if you want an arms on it to extend it back towards your seat or if you want spotting scope and lrf mounted at the same time.

That is trick, not sure I am looking to spend that kind of $$ on something I will be using off and on. Appears as though you have to buy the ball head in order to make it rotate, pan and tilt?
Have you guys made the clamp that will take pic rails and dovetail for the Leveling base yet? Last time we spoke you thought it should be around October/November of 18?

Ok, well please keep us updated as you are able to release any info on it. Back to the window mount, any other thoughts or product I could look at that is a bit more economical?

I’ve seen our state police / game enforcement division with spotting scopes mounted on their window. Also the state fish and wildlife.

Makes me wonder if there’s something available from some kind of bird watcher place. Might be a bird watcher forum somewhere that might know. If you can tolerate going to a bird watcher forum. Seems to me birdwatchers tend to be on par with peta. So if you can stomach that.....
