PSA is trying to sell a 50rd box of Tula 9mm for 30.00. PSA really went to shit last last year.

How is PSA any different than Midway USA or Brownells they are offering people a choice in a scarce ammo market you don’t like it don’t buy it.

Most brick and mortar stores haven't been gouging their customers. It's the availability that's the issue with them. The Internet stores should be convicted of robber and sentenced to 40 years on the chain gang.

Capitalism.
Go be poor elsewhere.
So people buy up all available ammo and causes a false shortage, then they sell said ammo 5 times what they paid for.

that’s not capitalism...

Monopoly:
a commodity or service in the exclusive control of a company or group.

see the difference?

thats actually the text book definition of capitalism.....buy low sell high.....

a monopoly would be if PSA bought out everyone else that sold ammo, and they were the only distributer......but even then, that is peak capitalism....fuck they made a board game about it and everything.

Guess you are one of those assholes that think the company that makes epi-pens is ok also...is that capitalism also because they got the patent first...

What part of creating a false shortage do you NOT understand...

Hope someone buys up all the anti-biotics and then sells it for a price you cant afford...bet you will be singing a new tune.

What a fuckstick...

Same thing...

nothing is stopping you from making your own epi-pen......shockingly, you arent entitled to someone elses labor for what YOU want to pay for it....

there are plenty of other countries where the govt ensures all companies are equal if you want to move there.

People need to better understand this "false shortage" nonsense. The ENTIRE supply chain for ammo, as with everything else, was shut down completely. How many ammo manufacturers make all of the components for their products, and that includes the metals used to make the components?

This is supply and demand, like it or not. You do not like the price do not pay it, instead of paying and complaining. If you are that desperate for ammo then you only have yourself to blame.

mmmm yes, maybe the govt should institute rationing.....you know, we can get a punch card, line up to receive our govt approved portion of goods for the week........maybe the govt should fix the prices too, let the govt tell you how much of a profit you are allowed to make.

and you call me the fuck stick?

go be a fucking commie somewhere else you poor excuse for an american.

if you dont know the difference between the supply and demand of 9mm ammo and the same for epi-pens and antibiotics, i cant help you.

i think ive typed it at least 100 times on this site: everyone wants to be a capitalist until capitalism does capitalist things with goods/services they use. then its crybabyism about "herp derp the gouging!! muh price increased!"

It's the same exact thing

Someone or people buy up all the anti-biotics because of whatever reason. Now they are only available to you if you pay 200 times what they are worth.

Show me the difference there. Talking out both sides of your mouth there.

I hope you can afford 800-1000 dollars if you ever need an epi-pen...

when you talk about medicine it muddies the water on economics discussions. because it adds a moral component that is literally talking about profiting off sick people.

but you are looking for an equivalency here and there is none. and now you're trying to change the subject to actual and real price gouging which would be the epi-pen example, and fake price gouging (or real capitalism) which is the 9mm ammo subject.

again, if you dont know the difference, we are not operating on the same intellectual plane here.

How does it not compare to being able to save ones life with a gun if you have no ammo because you cant afford it.

What about the morals of someone who d9esnt even own a gun and bought all the ammo just to make a profit.

It's the same thing.

You are not on the same intellect in this conversation.

"bu-bu-but if im walking through the desert, and im about to starve and run out of water.....but i stumble across a vending machine.....but the water is $1.50 and i only have $1.00 in my pocket.....so that means im going to die.

therefore the govt should mandate all vending machines sales are capped at $1.00"

you can apply your bullshit scenarios to any consumer good

How many rounds of ammo do you need to defend your life with a gun? Standard gun life saving scenario.

So, people can't profit off ammo sales? You must hate gun shops. Did you know they make a profit off selling guns AND ammo?

Have you not seen the riots for the past year. I may need more than 5rds or so.

Yes they make a profit, but not 5-10 times what they paid.

Actually i love gunshops.

So people cant profit off of medications....tit for tat, right?

Seem to have struck a cord with you on the medications...:unsure::unsure:

If I recall correctly, didn't Trump force them to sell them at a more reasonable price, and then one of the first orders Biden did on like Day 1 or Day 2 was to let them jack the price back up hugely?

You're going to find ammo for all kind of prices. The most expensive way to buy ammo today is through on line stores. For some reason, they can sell the ammo for crazy inflated pricing. I don't fault the stores, I fault the grubby little perverts who are buying up anything and everything, just because.

Look at what happened when the pipeline was hacked. You saw the pictures. People filling up storage totes with gas. People filling up 12-14 5 gallon gas cans. People even filling up plastic gas.

People like this are the problem.

What I have found very interesting is everybody seems to be buying then flipping all the low end ammo, like bulk target stuff or poors bulk target stuff
The prices on basically FMJ ball target ammo have skyrocketed.

Meanwhile the actual good ammo, the high end Self Defense and hunting stuff is in limited supply, but the prices haven't really gone all that crazy on it, they are up a bit but not dramatically like the cheap stuff is.

Half the time folks are lining up on GB to pay for ball ammo what they could get nice match / hunting ammo for.

In 2017, 2018, and part of 2019, there was literally a glut of ammo. Shelves were full of $12 box 9mm. 223 got back down to the $5 box range. 22lr was plentiful and cheap.

This isn't your bad fucking luck, its your lack of planning. Stop your fucking bitching. Ammo is easy to store, and takes up very little space.

There are people struggling to buy absolute necessities like fucking lumber to put a modest roof over their head.

Shut
The
Fuck
Up
And buy the available ammo if you NEED it!

Fucking lolligaggers.

Did I state that I never had enough ammo? If so, show me where please?

I have more than enough for myself and family. We shoot often, less now due to seizures but my oldest son does when he asks to.

I listened to AJ.

Doc

People and organizations are absolutely free to set their price however they want.

Customer's, like myself, are absolutely free to reject extravagant prices and hold it against the retailer in question wrt to future ammo/component purchase decisions.

I'm into freedom and its a blade that cuts both ways.

Were you the OP?

Didn't mean to offend you Doc.

I just get pretty tired of people starting ammo price bitching threads.

Not the first time in the last ten years I've gotten sick of folks bitching about ammo prices.

As I have pointed out in my other ramblings. There is far worse fuckery afoot.

I've been through this a half dozen times and prepare accordingly.

It's unfortunate that you need to keep a couple thousand dollars in food, water, fuel, ammo, etc to take care of your family but that is the way the world works.

Nobody complains when ammo companies aren't making money and barely make ends meet. Right now they, along with distributors, are making big money and I'm okay with that. Many of these companies invest in R&D which makes better products for all of us in the long run.
