I just picked up a 91 and was looking for info when I ran across the hkparts.net site, the have the AA 50 rd drums for $230 and I was wondering if they're any good. Any other places to get 91 accessories? Thanks

Twenty round mags are cheep and you can load least 10 of them in the time it will take to load one 50 round drum. The 50 round drum uses pusher rounds that can come unlinked if you are not careful with the drum. Most of the 20 round mags will run 100% on full auto. One of the drums was less than 100% but not that bad. They look good and have an increased fun value if you have a machine gun.

They work, Yes...but IMO, they aren't worth nearly the price that they command!

HK91/G3 mags are CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEEEEEAAAAAPPPPP (especially Al. surplus mags in new/like new condition that can be had for around $1/mag)! You can buy all the HK mags you can carry for far less than even one of the AA drums. If, God forbid, you break your drum mag...you are SOL to the tune of $230 or so. If you tear up, wear out or otherwise get a bum 20rnd mag, pitch it and grab the next one in the bin. Practice mag changes/tactical reloads and you'll be far better served in the long run than you will with the AA drum.
